GODDESS
She walked on the heavens,
The earth wasn’t ready for her glow and for her brokenness,
To the World she was perfection,
No work of fiction
No Einstein nor Archimedes could create formulae to solve her;
She was a mystery,
A mystery that people worshipped,
As a god and as love
She had a heart not pure just broken,
She was everything dirty and insane,
She tried,
She broke her back
For you and I never to lack,
And she left for us to start a pack,
The full moon heard her howls
Her aches and her troubles,
Her whimpering and pain
That thorn in her flesh,
Getting infected and causing discomfort.
Not once did she wince,
She wore a golden smile
You could see within a thousand mile,
A thousand mile away
She was beauty,
Her cracked soles had fine lines of hardship,
Her heart was not a harbour for relationship,
She was tattered;
Naked to the World
She never broke,
She carried all her chains and wore them like jewels,
Made them look beautiful,
She was a widow
To a husband that was never born
She wore so much black darkness couldn’t keep up,
She prayed for when the light will walk through her life and leave spots,
She was dark,
She was sinister,
She was everything and a pervert,
She hid behind sex to keep the demons away,
She was a storm,
A lightening on a rainy day,
She will walk through fire anyway
Just to make you happy,
She was broken,
Too many pieces missing that she couldn’t be whole,
Filling that hole,
With one-night stands and a bottle of Hennessey
She was everything,
She had a halo above her head,
The heavens adored her
She was beautiful,
She never once looked in the mirror,
Blinded by her faults,
Never once did she look for she will tear up
Those scars,
Those fine lines
Are tattoos;
Tribal tattoos,
Ones to be celebrated for she is more than the World could handle,
She was everything a man needed
But was never enough for the wrong one
She loves no one
Not even herself
To her, she will never be worthy of love,
For love, doesn’t live when you live like this.
