Oh! You remember when after lovemaking we will promise each other to stay till death do us part before even our wedding vows?
How we had promised each other like we were betrothed,
How you were my first and how love felt like butterflies,
Now I always look back and I find myself on the floor because that was the best joke every time.
One broken piece taken by you,
Maybe a few others have other parts too,
How we parted ways with shards of each other stuck in each other’s lives.
How broken we are, missing each other but we were never meant to be.
Oh hey! You know everyone is broken in every way,
But we try to find perfection in imperfection,
We go round in circles because imperfection can’t be perfect,
Our broken pieces can’t be found.
How everyone refuses to realize we are stuck in each other (no pun intended)
I am not looking for a perfect mirror,
I am looking for someone who sees the terror,
Who wants to turn this horror into a great horror movie,
But we all aren’t the same,
We all can’t be tame,
We went far but no matter what we still came.
Sat in our corner hoping an artist of our Heart will accept us for us,
Paint the missing pieces or find out how broken we both are,
And we will come together to be patched into One Big Piece of Love.
But we are just partly sane
Less objective, just one-point perspectives
And we don’t want a piece, we only want one whole but that is missing.
Partly Jokers, Partly Sane but we forget we are part of One Piece.
And the Two shall become One
